Undergraduate Student Government (USG) serves the undergraduate student body of the Arizona State University Tempe Campus. USG represents the concerns and needs of the students to the ASU Administration, the Arizona Board of Regents, and the State Legislature. USG has a wide variety of programs and services including the Bike Co-Op and Safety Escort. USG Advocates for college affordability, registers students to vote, and insures that students have a voice in campus and university decisions.
USG also provides club funding for organizations across campus through Senate Appropriations. Please see the Senate portion of this website to learn more about the Senate Appropriations process.

SAFETY ESCORT SERVICE
This service provides safe and free rides across ASU Tempe's campus throughout the semester in ASU golf carts and vans. We are available for all staff, faculty, and students on campus! This alternative allows students to have a method of traveling around campus in a safe and prompt manner. The service can be reached by phone at 480-965-1515 and by email at SafetyEscort@exchange.asu.edu. There are ASU marked carts and vans that Safety Escort Service picks up in. The service does not operate on university holidays and breaks. Please see the calendar for our daily schedule.
Service area is restricted to areas on campus. As such, their general boundaries are between Mill and Rural and between University and Apache. However, they do go farther north to serve Lot 59, the Brickyard, and University Towers as well as far south as Sonora, Vista Del Sol, and Adelphi.
Please note the following policies:
If a passenger vomits in a Safety Escort Vehicle, they will be subject to a $180 charge for clean up.
There is a 3 person pick up limit due to cart space.
